This series is designed for individuals seeking training with electrified vehicles (xEVs) and covers two levels of expertise. Level One focuses on safety awareness regarding high-voltage electrical hazards. It teaches participants how to identify and reduce risks when working near electrified propulsion vehicles and their high-voltage components. Level Two provides in-depth knowledge of the construction, operation, and repair of high-voltage vehicles. This level emphasizes maintaining a safe work environment, using personal protective equipment (PPE), identifying and reducing electrical hazards, and performing proper "safe down" procedures to verify no voltage is present before repairing high-voltage systems.
