Beekeeping for Beginners

Me beekeeping? Observing the life of the honeybee can only hint at how intriguing and fascinating beekeeping and honey gardening can be, whether as a hobby or as a livelihood. Discussed will be the life cycle, diseases, equipment, and management of your honeybees. Whether keeping honeybees for pollination, honey, or just for fun, come and see what the 'buzz' is about! This 4-session class is taught by members of the Iowa Honey Producers Association's Education Committee (Iowahoneyproducers.org).
