The Nazi era (1933-1945) was an unparalleled time in German history. The majority of Germans were Christian (97% prior to World War II) in this era and had a difficult time seeing the dangers that Hitler and the National Socialists presented. We will also look at the response of varying churches throughout Europe in the Nazi era, particularly as it relates to the Holocaust.
