This course is designed to provide healthcare providers with the knowledge and skills needed in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies acute arrhythmia stroke and ACS based on the AHA Guidelines. Pre-course Requirements: Proficient in BLS skills; reading and interpreting ECGs; understanding ACLS pharmacology. Students must complete the mandatory ECG Pharmacology pre-course self-assessment test A passing score of 70% or above is required to attend class. Print the certificate and bring it to class. Student Manual is required for class participation and will be mailed 20 days prior to the course. Continuing Education hours are contingent upon the successful completion of the course. Registration deadline: 20 days prior to class.Class size limit:12.
