
The Nurse Aid Skills Exam is the skills demonstration portion of the CNA State Exam Process. The test will consist of 5-7 skills taken from a list of 31 skills included in the nurse aide course. You will have 45 minutes to complete the test. A score of 70% or higher is required to be successful and to be eligible for the Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry. Registry placement in Iowa also requires 70% or greater on the CNA Knowledge Exam. (Both tests are required and taken separately.) Registration must include SSN. Students must bring a valid photo ID to testing. The student must arrive by the beginning time to be eligible to test.
