This course is designed to update healthcare providers the knowledge and skills needed in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies, acute arrhythmia, stroke and ACS based on the AHA Guidelines. Pre-course Requirements: Proficient in BLS skills; reading and interpreting ECGs; understand ACLS pharmacology. Student must complete the mandatory ECG Pharmacology pre-course self-assessment test. A passing score of 70% or above is required to attend class. Print certificate and bring to class. Student Manual is required for class participation and will be mailed 20 days prior to course. Continuing Education hours are contingent upon successful completion of the course.
