ASLS Instructor Course

The American Heart Association has developed Instructor Course materials that will provide quality and consistent instructor training. The course will prepare candidates to disseminate the science and philosophy of stroke recognition and intervention of strokes. Pre-course Requirements: Interview and be accepted by an AHA Training Center; complete Instructor Candidate application; complete online Instructor Essentials Course and submit certificate; have current AHA provider status for at least 2 years and be proficient in all skills. Contact AHA Training Center Coordinator to schedule an interview prior to registering. The deadline is 20 days prior to class.
