ID : 175
« back to classes page
If you’ve always wanted to write a novel, or even gotten started on one and given up, this is the class for you. Learn how to bring your story to life. This class will focus on developing an idea into scenes, dialogue, character development, plot development, secondary character interaction, and world building. Students can expect to begin their novel during the first class, and receive critiques and feedback through the six week process. Class will be a mix of discussion, interaction and writing time, with each of the sessions designed to help build the initial idea into a rough first draft.  Along the way we will discuss structure and development of a novel, and how to go about collecting the building blocks needed to create a solid piece of fiction.
