« back to classes page
This class focuses on what to do after a manuscript has been completed. From how to critique the work and where to find critique partners, to what makes a good critique and how to work with beta readers and editors. This class teaches students how to present their manuscripts in the best possible light when presenting to publishers, as well as how to navigate the publishing process, the different types of publishing currently available, how to craft a summary, blurb and letter of introduction, and how to determine if a particular publishing house might be a right fit for you. We will also discuss red flags and editorial conflicts.   Age 18 and up.  No class Nov 22.
