« back to classes page
Diving further into the novel writing process, this course focuses on developing the two most important parts of a novel:  the characters, and the sequence of events, or storyline, that will unfold between the pages. Over the course of the six weeks, students will work through a variety of writing exercises to further flesh out and develop their character’s motivations, emotional reactions, means of dealing with problems and methods of interacting with other characters. In addition, several writing exercises have been designed to aid students in creating a fully fleshed out storyline with beginning, middle and ending.  Age 18 and up
