« back to classes page
Characters are the life’s blood of a story which makes it vital that they have the ability to grab and hold reader’s attention. In this workshop we will be working on writing exercises designed to build off the basics of creative writing to explore character creation and how to create characters that read as believable, engaging and relatable to readers. Creating characters with distinct voices that distinguish them from other characters in the story. Creating character backstories, exploring character motivations, developing character personalities and exploring how a character shapes the world in which they live in as well as how that world shapes them.
